Guadeloupe

In 2018 my family and I went on vacation to Guadeloupe. It's a French island in the Caribbean's. The moment I stepped off the plane the humidity instantly slapped me. The trip itself was very refreshing from living in the states. The memory that struck with me the most was the culture shock my dad experienced. He doesn't deal with change very well. When he went to the market to get coffee, he complained about how no one speaks English. Then when we went to the beach, he was baffled by the French beach culture. All I can say is, his reaction was priceless.
